SWIRL      

The Swirl was completed in 2009 as an abstract piece.  At 5 feet in diameter, it is by far the largest piece the artist has completed to date.  It contains well over 2500 bottle caps.

Three lines glide through the piece, each ‘covered’ by a different color, giving a somewhat three-dimensional effect.  A triangle sits atop the colors also, mimicking the ‘assumed’ triangle that the three lines would make.  The darkest portion of the piece is also hi-lighted by another polygon, this time with twice as many sides.
